Please join us in learning from Dr. Folkert van Kemenade about the creation and operation of the Dutch National Tissuebank Portal (DNTP) – a biobanking portal for researchers to request and receive FFPE blocks from pathology laboratories within the Netherlands. A discussion period will follow the talk.

PHSA/BCCA/UBC- Biobanking and Biospecimen Research Services (BBRS) –This research infrastructure group encompasses an active biobank and biobanking support unit (BCCA Tumour Tissue Repository (TTR) at the BC Cancer Agency and UBC Office of Biobank Education and Research (OBER) at the Department of Pathology, University of British Columbia). Our goals are to support the establishment of small and large biobanks for biospecimen based translational research and promote access, quality and standardization through delivery of education and training and communication of standards and policies.
