Diandra was born and raised in Victoria, BC and moved to Vancouver, BC to pursue her interests in microbiology and infectious diseases. She is a Bachelor of Science graduate from the University of British Columbia and Bachelor of Nursing graduate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. She has clinical bedside experience in urban health (infectious disease/HIV care and substance use disorders), medicine and cardiac surgery. Diandra is passionate about antimicrobial stewardship, quality improvement, and infection prevention and control. She is currently working at Vancouver General Hospital as an acute infection control practitioner.
