| Brief Description | This award recognizes individuals whose performance during the current merit review year was exceptionally meritorious. Full-time faculty members as well as affiliate faculty members at the University of Northern BC and the University of Victoria are selected at an annual meeting of Department Heads and School Directors to receive an additional merit increase or recognition for outstanding academic performance as a Faculty of Medicine Distinguished Achievement Award. Up to 12 awards in total are made each year. |
