Dr. Jennifer Tat is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia and a Medical Microbiologist at Vancouver General Hospital. She earned her medical degree (MB BCh BAO) from University College Cork in Ireland, completed her MSc in Physiology at the University of Toronto, and pursued residency and fellowship training in Medical Microbiology and Infection Prevention & Control at the University of Toronto. Dr. Tat’s clinical and research interests span infectious disease diagnostics, infection prevention, and microbial genomics.
