Dr. Deepak Toor is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia and a Consultant Pathologist with the Vancouver Island Health Authority in Campbell River. He completed his MD at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine and his BSc in Biochemistry at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Toor completed his Diagnostic & Molecular Pathology residency at UBC, where he also served as Chief Resident in Anatomical Pathology (2022–2023), followed by a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital.

Dr. Toor has extensive involvement in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching through CPC (clinicopathologic correlation) sessions and small-group facilitation.
