Jerrold H. Levy, MD, FAHA, FCCM, is Professor Emeritus of Anesthesiology at Duke University and Professor of Surgery (Cardiothoracic). A graduate of the University of Miami (MD) with residency and fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard, Dr. Levy previously served on faculty at Emory University (ultimately Professor with tenure) and co-directed cardiothoracic intensive care units at Emory and Duke. His scholarship focuses on perioperative/coagulation science, anticoagulation and its reversal, hemostasis in critical illness, and patient blood management.
