Dr. Peter J.B. Sabatini is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia and a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at BC Cancer. He is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Medical Geneticists in Molecular Genetics and has over 15 years of experience spanning academic medicine, clinical diagnostics, and industry. His research focuses on precision oncology, cancer genomics, and molecular diagnostics, with a strong record of translational research, national collaborations, and high-impact publications. He is also active in curriculum development and has contributed extensively to the training of clinical laboratory geneticists, residents, and graduate students across Canada.
