Dr. Xiaofeng Ding is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia and a Medical Microbiologist at Island Health, based at Royal Jubilee Hospital. With training across Canada and China, Dr. Ding brings a unique multidisciplinary perspective to clinical microbiology, quality improvement, and diagnostic innovation. He previously held academic and clinical leadership roles in Alberta and Prince Edward Island and has contributed to national infectious disease surveillance and education.
