Chris Yuan is an Infection Prevention and Control Practitioner (IPAC Practitioner) at BC Children’s and BC Women’s Hospital. Working in a multidisciplinary team, Chris and other members of the Infection Prevention and Control team ensure a safe environment for patients throughout BC Children’s and BC Women’s programs, departments and services. As an IPAC Practitioner, Chris works collaboratively with clinical and operational stakeholders within PHSA, the Provincial Infection Control Network of BC (PICNet) and other regional and national health services in supporting best practices to prevent and control infectious disease transmission in BC Children’s and BC Women’s Hospital.
