Over two decades experience in translational research with a focus in
cancer and biomarkers to facilitate the goals of precision medicine. Also
investigating the experience of patients in order to better understand how tumor
agnostic therapies may be able to address the preferences of patients in the
setting of metastatic disease.
Academic Background
Training that has spanned across three separate countries provides
for an appreciation of multiple perspectives. Recipient of Excellence in Education
Award from The UBC Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (2019).

Research Interest
Current projects include – identification of predictive biomarkers in pancreatic and ampullary cancers, tumor heterogeneity and association with metabolic subtypes, and developing novel approaches for the integration of patient preference into formulary inclusion decisions.
