Dr. Sophia Park is a medical biochemist at Royal Columbian Hospital. Dr. Park completed her medical degree and medical biochemistry residency at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, and is a graduate of the Safety, Quality, Informatics and Leadership Program from Harvard Medical School. Her clinical interests lie in patient safety and quality improvement, laboratory stewardship, healthcare innovation, and medical education. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UBC Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and currently serves as Program Director of the UBC medical biochemistry residency training program, and Course Coordinator for PATH 406 Clinical Chemistry.
