Staff at Kelowna General Hospital within interior health in the capacity of a general hematopathologist, following a general pathology residency and hematopathology / transfusion medicine fellowship through UBC and VGH since 2016. I grew up in Kamloops, B.C. My areas of interest and practice include a wide spectrum of community / tertiary HP such as lymphoproliferative disorders, coagulation and transfusion medicine, general morphologic hematology including bone marrows as well as consult work for the region. I am also involved in quality improvement and some administrative tasks within the department including intermittent outreach work for smaller sites, as well as teaching activities spanning 2nd year medical students to off service and hematopathology residents. I spend my spare time with diverse active pursuits seasonally dependent, gardening, woodworking, as well as with family and pets.
