  1. September 2018- September 2019: How reliable is the Ki-67 proliferative index in the assessment of metastatic vs present: primary well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors? Poster was awarded Pulmonary Pathology travel Award with a monetary sum of 2000 USD for meeting held in Dubrovnik Croatia in June 2019.
  2. September 2018- September 2019: Association of PD-L1 expression with histological grade and mutational profile present: in Lung adenocarcinoma. Presented at USCAP 2019 in Baltimore USA.
  3. February 2018- Spetember 2019: Non classic ciliated muconodular papillary tumor of the lung Pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma with lepidic pattern. Presented at Pulmonary Pathology Society biennial meeting at Dubrovnik, Croatia in June 2019.
  4. June 2014- July 2018: Pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma with lepidic pattern. Presented at Stobwell- Oribson Award session at USCAP 2016 in Seattle.
  5. July 2015– June 2018  Comparison of Fluorescence in situ hybridisation (FISH) with Immmunohistochemistry (IHC) for the detection of Anaplastic Lymphoma kinase (Alk) 5A4 in 103 lung cancer cases from past 3 years since the implementation of this test in the pathology department and using next generation RNA sequencing to resolve discrepancies. Won the Canadian chair of pathologists award for experimental pathology at Vancouver in July 2016.

  1. April 2016- Comparison of p16 immunocytochemistry on cytology cell blocks with p16 June 2018 immunohistochemistry for squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. Was given the ASCP travel award for ASCP conference held in Chicago in September 2017.
