Dr. Elizabeth McKinnon is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia. She is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist with specialized training in forensic pathology. Her clinical practice spans multiple hospital sites including Abbotsford Regional Hospital and University Hospital of Northern British Columbia. Dr. McKinnon currently serves as Education Coordinator for the BC Coroner’s Service. Her research interests include dermatopathology, forensic pathology, and improving communication in pathology reporting. She is also involved in educational initiatives and has been active in social media engagement within the pathology community, serving as a Social Media Section Editor for the Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
