I attended Davidson College for my BSc degree, then the Medical University of South Carolina for my MD degree and did my residency in Vancouver, BC. I am board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.

Research Interest

My main professional interests have been surgical pathology, cytology and especially fine needle aspiration technique and cytological diagnosis.

Teaching Interest

Teaching undergraduate students with placements in rural hospitals as part of their core curriculums, specifically in Obs/Gyn – pathology aspects of those rotations.
