Short Bio:
I completed my BSc in Microbiology and Immunology and PhD in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UBC. I studied the role of leukocyte trafficking across the blood-brain barrier with Dr. Katerina Dorovini-Zis. After graduation, I started to tutor and teach in problem-based learning, case-based learning doctor, patient and society (DPAS), histology, anatomy and neuroanatomy in UBC’s MD undergraduate program.
Outside my UBC teaching commitments, I run a tutoring business.
I am active in community services and sit on the board of several charity and non-profit organizations.
