Excellence in research across Discovery, Mechanistic, Translational, Clinical, and Population research. Two awards available - one for faculty within seven years of appointment and all others. Clinical Service Award
    
These awards recognize distinction in enhancing patient care through laboratory services (clinical innovation, quality assistance and community outreach etc.).  One award is for clinical service in academic settings/university hospitals and the second in community settings (community hospitals, rural settings)

Dana Devine Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award
    
The Dana Devine Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award was created to honour the incredible legacy of Dr. Dana Devine. This award recognizes any member of the department who has a sustained and demonstrated history of ensuring there is equity, diversity and inclusion within research, teaching, and or unit or department composition.
    

        
Individuals should meet at least one of the following criteria:
        

            
Demonstrated excellence in supporting and promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within the university community and its affiliates
