Dr. Mohammed A. Sarhan is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia and a Medical Microbiologist at Royal Jubilee Hospital. He completed his PhD in Immunology & Infectious Diseases at Memorial University and advanced research fellowships at the University of Alberta before finishing Medical Microbiology residency training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Sarhan’s work spans clinical microbiology, infectious diseases, and infection prevention and control, with peer-reviewed publications on hepatitis C virus lymphocyte infection, SARS-CoV-2 in infants, and host–virus interactions.
