I am an Assistant Professor of Teaching and Director of the BMLSc Program in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

I have research and teaching experience in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, human biology, bioinformatics, and advanced technologies for comprehensive studies on biomolecules (including proteomics, metabolomics, and genomics)

I am passionate about teaching, mentoring, science communication, curriculum development and educational innovation centered on student-focused learning and excellence initiatives. My motivation for teaching is drawn out of a passionate desire to communicate knowledge in a simplified manner aimed at inspiring eagerness for deeper learning through collaborative engagement, experiential learning, feedback, and reflections.

I have developed and taught various science courses, participated in scientific research at various levels, led transformative educational initiatives, and facilitated teaching and learning programs.
