Sidney Austin is an Infection Control Practitioner, specializing in acute care with Vancouver Coastal Health. She graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and went on to complete her Infection Control Certificate at Queens University in 2021. She is a Registered Nurse with a background in medical surgical patient care. Her current research interests and pursuits are focused on antimicrobial resistant organism surveillance and infection control management in acute care.
