I started my career with Dr. C.J. Coady Associates, an integrated group of laboratory physicians, where I worked as an Anatomical Pathologist at Surrey Memorial Hospital for over two years before joining the BC Cancer Agency. I completed both my medical school training (2008) and residency in Anatomical Pathology (2013) at the University of British Columbia (UBC). I followed this by subspecialty Fellowship training in Breast and Gynecological Pathology at the Stanford School of Medicine (2013-2014), under the supervision of Dr. Teri Longacre.
Prior to my medical training, I completed a BSc. Degree in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University and a MSc. in Anatomy and Cell Biology at UBC focussing on breast cancer treatment, experiences which fostered my interest in medicine and specifically pathology. Outside of medicine, I am an avid cyclist, a dedicated husband, and a very proud father to two wonderful children.
